Description
Joliet Junior College and Transformance Advisors have partnered to
present a series of one day workshops. These seminars will provide
innovational ideas so organizations can create a strategy and then
execute the changes required to increase performance and maximize
profits. Each session is priced individually. Attend all four sessions
for the reduced rate of $1050.
Lean Enterprises (MGT 7065)
Apply the "lean" approach to your end-to-end supply chain
from suppliers to customers including manufacturing, logistics,
administration, and new product development. Generate
support in your organization for a lean initiative that will create
enthusiasm for an enterprise-wide improvement program. Topics
include value stream mapping, creating flow, and leveraging pull.
Discuss the five principles of Lean, Kaizen blitz events, the Five S
System, and new product development.
Demand Management (MGT 7066)
Learn to improve your business forecasts by implementing a
process that leverages the knowledge and responsibilities of
various participants so they make effective contributions. Topics
include consensus forecasting, customer collaboration, sales and
operating planning, and performance measurements. Discuss
the high performance processes, leveraging technology, demand
manager responsibilities, and managing imbalances.
Supply Management (MGT 7067)
Develop planning and scheduling processes that focus on constraints
and priorities while enhancing your flexibility to meet customer
requirements. Topics include supply chain collaboration and least
total cost inventory. Discuss order fulfillment strategies, performance
measurements, network optimization, and supplier scorecards.
Review the best practices in place at leading companies and
perform class room exercises designed so you can start applying
the knowledge you have gained immediately.
Going Physical Free (MGT 7068)
Build a business case and implementation plan to eliminate the
need for physical inventories. Topics include defining accuracy,
cycle counting, and effective root cause analysis. Discuss the five
step implementation plan, leveraging control groups, and the
impact of the Sarbanes-Oxley legislation.
