Omnibus Act for Small Business 

Senate Increases Funding for Small Business in New Omnibus Act

The U.S. Senate passed an omnibus appropriations act that includes $546, 626,000 to help small businesses through the Small Business Administration. This is a $63 million increase from last year.

Included in this omnibus act is funding for capital programs such as $3 billion to support the Small Business Investment Company Program, and $1 billion in surety bonds to help small contractors. There is also money for veteran’s programs, women business centers, and help for low-income entrepreneurs with very small businesses.
