Department of Labor Wants to Work with Small Businesses

If you are a small company and would like to develop a business relationship with the Department of Labor (DOL), there is a department just for you.

As a way of utilizing all types of small businesses, the DOL has established the Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) that acts as an ombudsman for small businesses interested in providing vendor services to the DOL.

The DOL buys a wide variety of goods and services valued at about $1.6 billion each year. Each DOL agency procures its own goods and services in support of their mission.

The OSBP is headed by Director José (Joe) Lira. For more information about this opportunity, visit http://www.dol.gov/osbp/welcome.htm.
