Kiosk Technology Delivers Safety Training to Large Manufacturer

In this day of computers and high technology, educators have a variety of ways to deliver training. One of these options is the kiosk.

O/E Learning, Inc. is a company that designs, delivers, and supports multi-media kiosks for training purposes. For example, they recently installed 113 kiosks for a Fortune 500 manufacturer who needed to provide environmental, health, and safety training on the floors of all of their plants.

Since most of the workers did not have access to a computer, the kiosk concept was an obvious solution for them. Technology has made the kiosk easy to use too. "Given the advances in technology and the options now available, we have a great opportunity to help our client by implementing a sustainable kiosk solution," says Michael Stolnicki, vice president of Operations for O/E. "Considering the alternatives, choosing to reinvest in the kiosk solution is still a low-cost option."
