"I am pleased to extend and share my experience in using the Joliet Junior College
as our training provider. We are a mid sized ISO/TS certified manufacturer in the
district of the Joliet Junior College and have been successfully utilizing the services
of the Economic Development Department of the Joliet Junior College for almost four
years.
As part of our employee development program and thanks to the flexibility of the
Joliet Junior College we were able to offer to our employees customized training
programs that have met our expectations and our schedules. Following training programs
have been realized or are still in progress: Frontline Supervisor Training, Statistical
Process Control, Credit classes for Industrial Maintenance Apprenticeship and Mold
Setter Apprenticeship program, Overhead Safety Training program, Basic and Advanced
Microsoft Excel. The Joliet Junior College has been also very helpful with the training
fund application process of the State of Illinois. Overall our employees are very
satisfied with the programs offered by the Joliet Junior College as the programs
are offered locally and increase skills and proficiency."
