Monitor your small business finances, including accounts payable and receivable, with QuickBooks. Learn how to record deposits, enter bills and make payments, generate invoices and sales receipts, create credit memos, write checks, automate transactions and generate reports. This program is ideal for service or product-based small businesses. Other topics include setting up a company, including vendor lists and bank accounts, as well as protecting and backing up data. While the class is designed for QuickBooks Desktop software, QuickBooks Online screen shots will be shown.
Advanced QuickBooks (COMP 2401)
Build on your knowledge of QuickBooks. Learn to set up a payroll system that manages employee information and generates checks, budgets and tax documentation. Practice customizing forms, creating graphs, building and modifying more advanced reports, writing letters and creating job estimates. Other topics include how to apply sales tax and track credit card transactions. While the class is designed for QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online screen shots will be shown.
