Joliet Junior College received grant funding to provide workforce training in high-demand, high-growth occupations. Please see information below regarding each of these programs and the upcoming information sessions.

Training Programs:

  • Commercial Truck Driver
  • Dental Assistant
  • Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician
  • Industrial Maintenance Technician
  • Phlebotomy Technician
  • Process Operator Technician
  • Warehouse Associate

Funding for these programs are provided by the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB) Workforce Equity Initiative. Training is available at no cost if participants meet the grant’s eligibility requirements.*

*Priority registration will be given to participants from underserved populations. As part of this grant initiative, at least 60 percent of participants must be African American.

Interested individuals must attend an information session to learn more about eligibility requirements.
